This large platform with it's central body jutting out, was probably the place where they displayed the skulls of their ememies who died in battle or were sacrificed. It is richly decorated on all sides with skulls, snakes and eagles, all impaled on stakes. Warriors living and dead, are shown carrying these trophies. Originally polychromatic, these reliefs express the purest Maya-Toltec Style.
